Introduction
When you modify your vehicle in a way that would normally trigger fault codes, you can disable the fault codes using the DTC system. This is useful for amongh other things, disabling the fault codes created by catalytic converters being triggered. But can be used for any fault code. It’s important to note that this has nothing to do with Guardian, and is only applicable to OEM fault codes.
